ATI is seeking to hire an Engineering Intern for our Internship Program. This position will be based in East Hartford, CT. The projects and skills outlined below will be guided and directed by an established ATI-Professional in your field of interest. What You'll Do Support Engineering Staff Work as a technical resource for engineering manage to support projects and quality improvement initiatives. Perform routine tasks associated with engineering standard work. Gather and analyze data for the engineering staff. Work within the engineering software to update and create work instruction. Support process improvement and cost reduction activities for the department What You'll Gain Learn and apply operational theories in heavy manufacturing industry Work alongside an experienced and knowledgeable group of professionals in a unique environment Develop exclusive knowledge of the forging industry, precision machining, and their processes Learn priceless knowledge of the Aerospace and Defense industry Basic Qualifications Must be a sophomore or above in college Pursuing aBachelor's Degree or Higher Education Preferred Qualifications Student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering Microsoft Office and CAD/CAM software, i.e. UG, Mastercam, or Solid works Machining experience and GD&T About Us ATI is one of the largest and most diversified specialty materials and components producers in the world.
