This role is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once either of these work term(s) are completed.

*Location:Loveland, CO

*Start Dates: May 2025 / September 2025

*Length of Terms: 4 months

This position is seeking applicants with a start date for both the summer and fall terms. The summer term will be full time while the fall term could be either full or part time. Please indicate choice of starting term.

What you will do:




  • Support the functions and processes of the Nitrogen & Phosphate Capital team and multiple production facilities in North America.
  • Contribute to the management of a portfolio of multi-million dollar capital projects at multiple sites.
  • Model our core value of safety by supporting a culture where you are agilely contributing to a safe work environment.
  • Develop real time capital project performance indication in Microsoft Power BI.
  • Prepare capital reports as needed for various departments.
  • Develop tools and templates as needed.
  • Perform a variety of basic plant engineering calculations to validate capital project justification
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data clean-up, review, and updates.
  • Other duties as needed.



What you will bring:




  • Currently enrolled in a degree program. Successful completion of at least two years in a recognized computer science, engineering, or business program.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using all Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Business Intelligence.
  • Basic knowledge of financial functions, IRR, NPV, others
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate

The salary estimates for the Co-Op, Capital Portfolio role in Colorado is $16.76 to $27.62 per hour. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

We provide an attractive benefits package that includes catastrophic coverages including life, accidental death and dismemberment, and business travel accident insurance for a position of at least three months in duration and more than 30 hours per week. Our benefit package also demonstrates our culture of care with paid sick days and holidays as well as an Employee and Family Assistance Program. A Student or Intern role does not participate in any retirement savings or incentive programs. Nutrien will comply with benefit and retirement regulations, as necessary. Details of the benefits package will be shared in the application process.
