Working remotely with periodic travel, you'll engage directly with service providers, utilities, municipalities, and tribal nations to drive impactful broadband infrastructure projects.   • Lead pre-sales and post-sales engagements as the primary customer interface.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across operator roles (CxO, engineering, operations, marketing).
  • Partner with sales engineers to identify customer challenges and deliver innovative solutions, driving orders effectively.
  • Articulate and promote Nokia's vision on cutting-edge technologies and solutions to enhance customer engagement.
  • Position Nokia as a thought leader in the industry by communicating key technological developments to customers.
  • Maintain an accurate sales forecast in Salesforce.com, identifying high, medium, and low probability opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to craft tailored proposals for solutions and services that meet customer needs.
  • Commit to ongoing training to enhance sales skills and deepen product knowledge, embracing 30-50% travel for client interactions.



You have:



  • At least 7 years of telecom experience in a territory environment, focusing on direct sales to customers such as Rural service providers, Utilities, Electric Coops, State, Local, and Municipalities.
  • Demonstrated experience in forecasting and managing opportunities using Salesforce.com.
  • Strong knowledge of the competitive telecom industry.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a complex selling environment, driving consistent strategy across multiple customer sets.
  • Proven strategic thinking to leverage technical, marketing, end-user, and industry insights for mutual success.


It would be nice if you also had:



  • Knowledge of Nokia IP/Optical/Fixed Networks products and solutions.
  • Prior experience working with consultants for service providers, utilities, and municipalities.
  • Ability to take initiative and lead in the absence of direct supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
