Position Overview The Innovation Projects Supervisor partners with the Innovation Projects Manager to lead, train, and motivate the Innovation Project Management team to achieve positive outcomes and continuously add value to the OCHIN collaborative. This work entails managing projects, prioritizing work, providing feedback, managing performance, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring high quality service to OCHIN's members. The Innovation Projects Supervisor will continually assess and make improvements to systems and processes to increase efficiency and satisfaction amongst the team and will judiciously manage team resources to ensure project success. The Innovation Projects Supervisor will also actively participate as an individual contributor by managing projects and custom integration requests. Essential Duties
- Lead, motivate, develop and support team to achieve desired results.
- Provide ongoing direct supervision and support to staff, including leading regular team meetings and 1:1 check-in meetings.
- Conduct quarterly performance reviews.
- Continuously develop and grow individuals and the team, through professional development and team process improvements.
- Ensure that staff track time in accordance with organizational policies.
- Communicate and manage the implementation of OCHIN's strategy.
- Manage staff performance in accordance with organizational policies.
- Provide regular coaching and mentorship to other team members to help them reach their highest potential.
- Actively promote the diversity of OCHIN staff by identifying and developing emerging leaders from projects and programs.
- Conduct training if requested to teach many of the skills-both hard and soft-that are required for the successful planning, execution, delivery and support of projects and their products or services
- Lead and participate in process improvement efforts
- Identifying and developing project management tools and other process improvements, and leading and participating in process improvement efforts
- Participate in organizational strategic planning and alignment with resulting goals and tactics
- Portfolio and relationship management
- Regularly report out on team portfolio of projects, including learnings, project status, risks, and constraints.
- Manage assignment of resources to projects.
- Partner with department leadership to anticipate future resourcing needs as new projects are identified.
- Manage executed statements of work.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members and staff at all levels of the organization; negotiates difficult conversations to a desired end while maintaining trust and respect.
- Establish, manage, and uphold OCHIN best practices and standards regarding project management, communication, and documentation
- Maintain and reinforce communication and linkages between the Innovation Project Management Team and other OCHIN departments.
- Identify opportunities for process and quality improvement and collaborate across the team to on process improvement efforts.

- Scoping and requirements gathering for assigned projects
- Build, manage, and organize appropriate project plans for any assigned projects
- Develop, maintain, and revise all project materials
- Track progress of projects and ensure all milestones and timelines are met, quickly identifying and escalating any risks to meeting these milestones and timelines
- Collaborate and negotiate with project sponsors and other stakeholders on project management strategy, timeframes, and specific outcomes to be achieved
- Identify relevant stakeholders and building communication strategies to ensure project deliverables are on time, within budget, and meet desired outcome metrics
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate project risks and issues, communicating project status, and negotiate changes in project scope, resources, or timeline to ensure that the project sponsor and the partner or member are satisfied with project results
- Provide coordination among multiple parties who may be participating in technical projects (vendors, OCHIN, members, and external partners) to bring alignment and shared understandings of project scope, timelines, milestones, and expectations.
- Employ change management strategies and tactics
- Work closely with project sponsors, OCHIN management, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects and project tactics align with OCHIN's strategic goals
- Provide excellent customer service to members and to other external and internal project stakeholders
- Assist in establishing and maintaining organizational project management methodology and procedures
- Collaborate on process improvements within team and participate in process improvement efforts
- Assist in identification of opportunities for process and quality improvement both internally to OCHIN and by informing members of other OCHIN services available to them
- Coordinate with partner site project managers to obtain necessary information, data, and input to achieve on-time member set-up goals
- Assist in development and strategy of customer service policies and tools
- Provide coordination and leadership for managing any project to successful completion
- Build communication strategies and plans to support each project including Identifying relevant stakeholders.
- Lead change by modeling behavior and influencing peers/partners.
- Use system thinking and collaborate effectively with internal and/or external partners to ensure effective integration of changes and to foster organizational learning.
- Escalate risks and issues as appropriate.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Operational Excellence and Business Solutions Department.
- Actively pursue continuous learning and professional growth.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public administration, IT, health informatics, or a related field.
- Minimum four (4) years of progressive growth in fields; three (3) years of supervisory experience or leadership roles within teams preferred.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in complex project management, preferably in a healthcare and/or IT setting, including 2,000+ hours leading and managing projects
- 4,000-7,000 hours leading and managing projects, and 20-25 hours of PM Education preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required
- Experience or knowledge of health care and/or Epic preferred. Priority given to candidates with healthcare/Epic experience.
- Technical aptitude to fully understand and gain the necessary knowledge required to effectively collaborate with members and team members on any project assigned
- Proficiency in Smartsheet, Microsoft Project or similar system preferred
- Must have technical aptitude to fully understand and gain the necessary knowledge required to effectively collaborate with members
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- For this fully remote position, ideal candidate will have experience working with fully remote project teams and leading projects to successful completion
- Strong potential for self-direction/self-management skills with the ability to work independently and effectively as a sole contributor and as part of a team
- Certification in agile, scrum, waterfall, lean or other methodologies preferred
- Strong communication skills - speaking and delivering messages clearly, as well as listening and understanding other's needs.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required.
- Proven success in internal and external relationship management with all levels of expertise from administrative to executive.
- Ability to deal with very ambiguous environments in order to properly assess problem statements and cultivate solutions.
- Excellent facilitation and change management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, intercultural, and customer service skills.

Base Pay Overview The typical offer range for this role is minimum to midpoint, with the midpoint (Min-$108,701 -Mid-$141,311) representing the average pay in a national market scope for this position. Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors directly relevant to this position, including, but not limited to, skills, knowledge, training, responsibility, and experience, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
