The Patient Advocate coordinates directly with patients in a hospital setting to provide support and communicates with agencies, hospital staff, and others to advocate on behalf of self-pay patients and other underinsured patients Location: Sheffield, AL 35660 Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience and Qualifications:
Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship now or at any time in the future. Salary and Other Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is between $21.00 - 24.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
