PROJECT MANAGER - OCCH

Job Overview:

Nemean Solutions is seeking a skilled Project Manager (PM) to lead and oversee contract operations supporting the Office of the Chief of Chaplains (OCCH) at the Pentagon. The PM will manage a team of 10 employees located at the Pentagon and Fort Jackson, SC, ensuring high-quality contract execution, deliverable submission, workforce management, and effective collaboration with Government stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with proven success managing DoD or federal contracts, demonstrating strong diplomatic skills, problem-solving ability, stakeholder engagement, and outstanding written and verbal communication.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership and management of a 10-person team supporting OCCH mission requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between Nemean Solutions and the Government's Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Contracting Officer (KO).
• Oversee contract execution to ensure all deliverables, staffing requirements, and performance objectives are met.
• Lead and facilitate Monthly Status Report (MSR) briefings with Government leadership.
• Manage day-to-day staff operations, including onboarding, personnel actions, performance management, and workload distribution.
• Track and report contract performance metrics and support Quality Control Plan (QCP) requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Government stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
• Coordinate and manage occasional CONUS travel to Fort Jackson, SC, and other Government-identified locations.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks to contract performance and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure full compliance with contract terms, security requirements (SECRET Clearance), and Nemean Solutions' internal policies.

Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.

Minimum Requirements/Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing DoD or federal Government contracts.
• Demonstrated success managing contract deliverables, workforce oversight, and customer relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and deliver effective presentations.
• Proven ability to exercise diplomacy and sound judgment in complex operational environments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
• Experience supporting Army or DoD headquarters-level organizations.

Security Requirement:

• Active DoD SECRET Clearance.
