LOGISTICS MANAGER / ANALYST (SENIOR LEVEL)

Job Overview:

The Logistics Manager / Analyst (Senior Level) oversees and supports comprehensive logistics management, planning, and execution for the Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) Program. This position plays a key role in analyzing logistics data, ensuring readiness and accountability of equipment and materials, and managing the flow of goods and services to support mission success. Responsibilities include life cycle logistics planning, inventory control, transportation coordination, and logistical analysis in compliance with DHS/CBP guidelines.

Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead logistics planning, execution, and sustainment activities for the TARS program.
• Analyze logistics requirements and develop lifecycle sustainment strategies.
• Maintain oversight of property accountability, inventory control, and equipment disposition.
• Coordinate transportation, shipping, and receipt of materials and equipment to/from operational sites.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and program management teams to forecast and support mission requirements.
• Monitor warehouse operations, supply chain performance, and maintenance support trends.
• Prepare logistics status reports, briefings, and data analysis to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, DHS/CBP logistics standards, and federal property regulations.

Competencies:

• Strong understanding of logistics principles and lifecycle sustainment.
• Knowledge of DoD/DHS logistics systems and property accountability standards.
• Ability to manage supply chains and material readiness across dispersed locations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Requirements/Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of logistics management or related experience in a federal government or defense program.
• Proficiency in logistics databases, inventory systems, and asset tracking tools.
• Experience with DHS/CBP or DoD logistics, maintenance planning, or lifecycle support highly preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Security Requirement:

• Favorably adjudicated CBP Background Investigation (BI) and a Secret Security Clearance required.

Travel Required: 10-15%

Physical Demands/Requirements: Work is performed in an office environment. Mostly sedentary work. Repetitive motion. Substantial movement (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen; extensive reading.
