Position Purpose |
This position serves as a key contributor to the Deans' Office, providing high-level administrative and executive support to the Dean and the Dean's Leadership Team and strategic project management and execution expertise. Leads the coordination and execution of key institutional initiatives and special projects originating from the Deans' Office, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational priorities. |

- At least 7 years of experience in administrative support, project management, or a related field, with a proven track record of supporting senior leaders and providing executive-level administrative and strategic support to senior leadership or C-suite executive teams.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience drafting organizational communications and professional correspondence for others.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of business operations gained through a bachelor's degree in management or a related field of study, or a combination of a liberal arts education and relevant work experience.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and managing competing priorities with diplomacy and efficiency.
- Knowledge of executive office operating standards and processes, Microsoft Office software, video conferencing technology and software, and project management tools.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.

Key Accountabilities
Description |
1.
Executive Support
- Provide professional and discreet administrative and executive support to the Dean and Associate Deans.
- Manages the Dean's complex and dynamic calendar, balancing competing priorities and ensuring timely preparation for meetings, events, and travel. Manages itineraries for the Dean, serves as the principal point of contact for internal and external contacts for scheduling requests and applies awareness of current Deans' Office initiatives and priorities, internal and external relationships, communications and service standards, and personal preferences.
- Prepares materials for meetings, presentations, events, and other appointments for Dean and Associate Deans.
- Screen and prioritize communications, serving as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Draft and manage correspondence on behalf of the Dean, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including creating itineraries and managing reimbursements and expense reports in compliance with Dartmouth policies.
- Prepares an annual calendar for the Deans' Office.
- Provide executive administrative support for a wide variety of meetings, including the Deans' leadership team meetings, faculty meetings, and other meetings involving Deans' Office executives; prepares agendas, acquires and organizes pre-meeting materials, records minutes, reserves space, and tracks action items.
- Oversee and optimize the scheduling processes for the Deans' Office, including coordinating meetings with faculty, staff, and external partners.
- Maintains records, coordinates logistics for events, and supports other team members as needed.

Project Management and Execution
- Collaborate with the Dean and other senior leaders to plan, execute, and track strategic initiatives and special projects. Monitor project progress and maintain regular reporting structures to keep leadership informed of timelines, milestones, and roadblocks.
- Develop timelines, deliverables, and metrics for key projects, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities.
- Research, analyze, and summarize data or materials to inform decision-making and initiatives.
- Prepare presentations and reports on behalf of the Deans' office, gathering relevant data, summarizing key insights, and effectively communicating complex information in a clear and palatable manner.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of events, programs, and initiatives led by the Deans' Office.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential challenges or risks in project execution.
- Collaborates with Tuck and Dartmouth leadership, faculty, and professional staff colleagues to conceptualize, develop, manage, and complete shared projects and assignments.

3. Accreditation and Standards Compliance Management
- In partnership with the Sr. Associate Dean for Teaching and Learning and working with Tuck faculty and Tuck's Director of Institutional Research, ensures compliance with Tuck's ongoing standards and process reviews for Assurance of Learning. Ensures the completion of Tuck's assessment of students and curriculum objectives, assists with faculty surveys, compiles data and formats reports, and tracks faculty compliance with deadlines.
- Provides executive support and management for Tuck's 6-year reaccreditation processes with AACSB, including liaising with AACSB, application submission, and visit coordination
