Your Qualifications:



  • Four year college degree in Engineering, Business Administration orMaterial Science plus 3years applicable experience preferred OR10 years' electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with exposure to standardization and production quality methods in lieu of 4 year degree.
  • Strong electrical experience manufacturing methods and techniques involving the use of heavy mill machinery and related equipment.
  • Must have experience in scrap processing, melting, casting, rolling, maintenance, finishing, and supervisory/facilitation.
  • Detail oriented and ability to interactwith associates at all levels within the organization.
  • Experience in Work Execution Management (WEM). Knowledge of WEM scheduling as it applies to maintenance area sponsors and WEM principles.
  • Successful candidate will demonstrate a basic knowledge of WEM and SAP and the use of complex technical and engineering processes.
  • Requires the ability to train and guide people.
  • Possess solid presentation abilities combined with good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • People management skills a must.
  • Previous experience with cost control and managing costs to meet budgetary requirements is preferred.



Your Purpose:

You willprovideleadership guidance on establishing a productive, high performing, and safety conscious maintenance self directed working environment. The major role of this job is to focus on all aspects related to safety, environmental, production, cost, quality, and people management through the continuous application of Work Execution Management (WEM) for area of responsibility.You will ensure standardization of processes within the area of responsibility. You will manageto measurable goals including budget adherence and Work Execution Management targets.This position directly reports to the Rolling Mill Maintenance General Facilitator.

Your Work:



  • Manage safety prioritization, needs assessments, auditing, coaching of production/quality improvement programs and standards, training, 5S improvements.
  • Develop and implementcost and environmental control goals, and new and current preventive maintenance and safety management routines
  • Ensure rolling mill electrical maintenance efforts are supporting the operational goals of the location and identifyopportunities for improvement in processes, products, and production
  • Support the maintenance area sponsors and other assigned personnel in all aspects of training, development, auditing and execution of WEM processes.
  • Coordinate efforts with the different functional groups both within area of responsibility and other areas of the location.
