Position Summary: Assists in overseeing daily warehouse operations, coordinating logistics, training team members, and maintaining overall efficiency of the department. This role is responsible for coordinating all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Assist in coordinating and organizing daily warehouse functions such as receiving, picking, shipping, and inventory
  • Train, guide, and support department to meet operational goals
  • Monitor performance and provide feedback to staff; escalate issues to management as needed
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and shipments
  • Assist with various inventory-related functions as necessary
  • Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in an efficient and safe manner
  • Assemble product on pallets in a manner which will enable transportation of product to customers while minimizing damage to boxes and product
  • Communicate with management on product availability
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse
  • Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and sanitized
  • Adhere to all USDA, HACCP, SSOP, food safety, and employee safety policies
  • Be available to work flexible hours, as needed, based on production demand
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:



  • One to three years' experience operating a pallet jack and forklift
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills required
  • Experience with manufacturing software systems preferred
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 80lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in wet and cold (32-40) environment.
