Today, the hospital is a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center withLevel I adult traumaandLevel II pediatric traumadesignations. Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital has 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows. Corewell is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, with more than 1,400 Beaumont doctors on faculty. Scope of Work Has primary focus on the MR safety program for Corewell Health MRI operations. Will be responsible to create, operationalize, enforce and audit MR safe practices. Evaluates safety related workflow to establish and recommend needs for communication, education and or process changes. Accountable to lead the MRI Safety Committee meetings and act in collaboration with members to improve MRI safety processes in the clinical setting. Also is accountable to communicate and educate MRI safety practices to multiple clinical care areas outside of the department of Radiology. A secondary function will be to support a program within Radiology to educate and train staff currently working in other areas to attain MR technologist qualifications. Qualifications
