Overview Abacus Technology is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to provide system security analysis, cyber compliance management, and security monitoring at Fort Bragg. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities
Monitor network devices, firewalls, web proxies, HBSS, and wireless security measures for compliance with Army and DoD cybersecurity policies.
Qualifications 1+ years experience in information systems security, network security monitoring, and cyber compliance. Bachelor's degree in a related field desired. Must be Security+ certified (or hold an equivalent certification in compliance with IAT Level II). GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certifications desired. Familiar with DoD cybersecurity policies, including DISA STIGs, RMF, and AR 25-2. Experience monitoring network security devices, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint security tools. Able to conduct and analyze ACAS vulnerability scans and provide risk-based recommendations. Proficient in responding to cyber threats, security incidents, and system vulnerabilities. Experience working in a DoD cybersecurity operations center, monitoring tools like ACAS, HBSS, and SIEM platforms. Familiar with cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST 800-53, RMF, and DoD cyber defense directives. Able to interact professionally with all levels of an organization. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
