 Inova Franconia-Springfield Healthplex, Emergency Room is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to join our team. Eligible Nurses will qualify for sign on & relocation bonuses. Full-Time, Night shift (7pm - 7am). During orientation will rotate through all shifts (Days, Mids, and Nights).  - 24-hour lab testing and radiology including X-ray, CT scan and ultrasound
 - 4-5:1 patient to nurse ratio
 - Emergency nurses certified in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS)
 - Ventilator trained nursing and EMT staff
 - Board-certified emergency physicians

Emergency Room Nurse Supervisor Responsibilities:

 - Supports unit-based shared governance and decentralized decision-making structures and processes

Minimum Qualifications: 
 
   
 - Experience: Requires a minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience 
 - Education: BSN or Associate Degree RNs that are within one year of completing their BSN 
 - Completion of revised Charge Nurse Workshop within the first 90 days of employment 
 - License: Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
 - Certification: BLS from American Heart Association required upon start 
 - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 - Exhibits leadership ability that fosters teamwork and retention.
 - Demonstrates professionalism and ability to remain calm and lead in dynamic and busy situations.
 - Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office and healthcare software required.
 - Strong problem-solving capabilities and prioritization; can serve as a resource and mentor to other clinical staff on the unit.
 
  
 
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
 
   
 - Prefer candidates with 2 years plus of ED RN experience. 
 - Strongly prefer Charge or Supervisory experience 
 - Strongly prefer current ACLS and PALS
