Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Accountant of Mergers and Acquisitions to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and leading certain areas of planning and execution of the integration of the acquired company into Convergint Technologies. The primary focus of the successful candidate will be the transition of the acquired company on to Convergint's financial system as well as educating the local team on operational processes, other software platforms and other key functional areas. Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000

What You'll Do

- Develops an understanding of Convergint Technologies organizational infrastructure and the ability to effectively navigate across all levels of the organization.
- Works closely with supervisor, local CTC leaders and CDC departments in oversight and execution of integration plan and objectives.
- Supports review of due diligence financial data provided by target company, as directed by supervisor and Manager of Acquisitions with focus on operational processes and finance.
- Travels regularly to newly acquiring and newly acquired CTC locations to assist with monthly financial reporting and transition to Spectrum/new ERP.
- Ability to train new colleagues on a multitude of operational processes such as Spectrum and iCare while maintaining consistency with acquired CTC's and local CTC's existing processes.
- Assists with evaluation and rollout of new ERP to acquired companies and CTC's.
- Post-Close, works closely with local leadership, CDC team, and supports CTC team in the detailed transitional activities including: Financial Systems, process & best practices roll out, system transition & others as required.
- Works closely with local team in assessing acquired company's current processes surrounding financial management, operations & service delivery, human resources, technology and other key operational processes.
- In concert with integration team, develops a present state>future state roadmap for integration of respective workstreams and plan for effectively mitigating business interruption throughout the transition process.
- Supports positive and ongoing communication to acquired company colleagues including detailed written correspondences, leading integration team meetings, one on one conversations with colleagues at all levels of acquired team organization.
- As directed and with minimal supervision, develops ownership of driving the integration process and managing pace of respective projects & workflows. (Financial and Operational Migration, Technology, Benefits, Vehicles, real estate consolidation, & others)
- Strongly supports promotion of Convergint's V & B's. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience
Experience: 3-5 years accounting experience
Travel: 50% within the US and Canada
