Get to Know Your Team:

  • Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for oversight of PT, OT and ST departments that provide care to inpatient areas across Hillcrest Medical Center including both acute care and rehabilitation departments.
  • The manager will provide leadership through management of daily operations including but not limited to human resources, daily operations, departmental budget, compliance, quality, productivity, policies and procedures, recruitment, onboarding and student oversight.
  • This position will serve as the therapy department resource across the hospital and will be responsible for ensuring high standards of clinical practice as well as promoting positive working relationships with medical staff, other department leaders, service lines and the community.
  • This therapist works within practice guidelines as defined by their respective practice under Oklahoma state law.
  • The Manager will ensure high standards of professional practice and will promote professional development of all therapy disciplines.
  • From a human resources perspective emphasis on staff productivity & utilization, team development, conflict management, process improvement, mentoring, and participating in annual performance review process for team members.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years as practicing therapist preferably in a hospital/healthcare setting
  • 4 year/Bachelor's Degree (PT, OT, SLP-preferred)
  • BLS
  • OK State Licensure or temporary license to practice

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience preferred
