Overview

Providence Medical Center (PMC) is seeking a Student Radiologic Technologist in a per diem variable shift role!!! Internally referred to as our Student Rad Tech at Providence Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare. As a Student Rad Tech you will perform Diagnostic Radiographic procedures in our Radiology Department.

Shift's Available: Days

Employment Type: Per Diem

Hours: 8-hour

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

  • performs diagnostic Radiographic procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations
  • functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs
  • participates in PI/QC activities
  • responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS


Qualifications

Education and Training

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • enrolled and in good standing in a Radiologic Technology program
  • current BLS certification (AHA)
  • at least 6 months of clinical experience

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:

  • proficiency of computer systems to perform patient testing and to retrieve related data to monitor quality
