How you'll make an impact:

This Business Development Director will be responsible for managing existing enterprise platform customers including music streaming publishers, radio broadcasters, and other types of digital publishers who have a use case for digital audio monetization.

What you'll do:

  • Strategic Account Development
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key points of contact with existing AdsWizz platform customers - both music streaming and radio broadcast clients. Relationships are often built with the heads of monetization, ad operations, data & analytics and programmatic sales
    • Develop and act against an overall account plan in terms of quarterly business reviews, biweekly operations calls or other touchpoints that are needed to ensure customer success
    • Serve as the primary business point of contact, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention
    • Educate clients on how to use the AdsWizz SaaA platform to support their business needs, providing consultative sales and strategic insights.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (solution engineers, technical account managers, global customer support, product managers, and marketing team) to ensure ongoing client success
  • Business Expansion
    • Continue to grow our business with key North America streaming publishers by expanding what they do with AdsWizz. This will require negotiating, and closing new contracts with them to support custom platform initiatives, or adding a new product offering
    • Identify, negotiate and close business with new digital audio publishers
    • Drive adoption of the company's ad tech SaaS solutions, increasing market penetration and revenue.
    • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing models, and revenue-sharing structures to create win/win partnerships with new customers and continue to grow the business
  • Industry & Market Intelligence
    • Stay ahead of ad tech and digital audio trends, including programmatic advertising, dynamic ad insertion (DAI), and audience targeting innovations.
    • Monitor competitive landscape, providing market feedback to inform product development and sales strategies.
    • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

What you'll need:

  • 10+ years of business development, sales or strategic partnership experience in digital audio advertising, ad tech, or programmatic media.
  • Proven track record of building strong, long-term strategic partnerships in an enterprise platform or digital media business is required
  • A strong understanding of the digital media industry including an understanding of programmatic advertising (SSP/DSP).
    • An understanding of either CMS or ad servers is beneficial but not required.
    • An understanding of digital audio specifically is not required.
  • Experience working with publishers, ad networks, trading desks, and/or programmatic buyers.
  • Strong strategic relationship and communication skills - especially in an ad tech environment - is the most critical skill
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $134,000.00 to $182,000.00 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
