The Athletic Department at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a Women's Basketball Operation Director.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

The duties of the College Women's Basketball Operation Director have changed dramatically over time as the sport has expanded in popularity, professionalism, and complexity. The roles has shifted from being mostly logistical to demanding a broader skill set as the responsibilities have broadened into areas such as player development, compliance, marketing, and data analysis.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:



  • Oversee Head Coach's calendar.
  • Oversee the development and production of team notes.
  • Oversee the birthday calendar for GSU players, staff, support staff, and alumni.
  • Oversee graduate assistants and team managers.
  • Oversee the ordering of all team meals.
  • Oversee scheduling, maintenance report and key requests.
  • Oversee player affairs (housing, meals, parking, travel and campus life).
  • Oversee the player/staff development program and staff retreat.
  • Assist with official visit itinerary, campus tour and admissions assistance.
  • Assist with community service and team building exercises.
  • Assist with social media post creation/launchpad.
  • Assist with equipment and inventory.
  • Liaison for 365 Panther Way.
  • Liaison for the All Blue All NIL initiatives.
  • Liaison for developing, implementing and executing brand building initiatives for the program, staff and players.
  • Liaison for PAC.
