Position Title: Welder
Wage: $18.00 - $24.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday) Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Welder at a company in Burlington, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply today! Welder Responsibilities: - Use measure devices to assist in layout and fit of steel to be welded - Weld pieces together in flat, vertical or overhead positions, to make the desired completed product according to documented print - Grind burrs and sharp edges using hand grinders - Examine completed work pieces for defects such as deformed edges and marred surfaces - Comply with all company safety policies and procedures and practices safe work habits Requirements for Welder: - At least three years of welding experience - At least two years of fitting experience preferred - Experience working with and reading prints - Experience laying out and measuring - Ability to use basic mathematics and measurements - Ability to inspect fabricated parts before welding - Ability to pass company screening process racine@qpsemployment.com IND012 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
