What the day will look like:

Senior Client Advocates collaborate with internal teams such as Client Services, Accounting Advocates, and Compliance to develop account-specific strategies and maintain operational efficiency. They also mentor junior colleagues, including Client Advocate Trainees, by providing training and guidance on Aon's proprietary systems, compliance procedures, and best practices in reinsurance broking.

How this opportunity is different

The Senior Client Advocate at Aon is a client-facing role responsible for ensuring exceptional client service. This position involves coordination with team members from start to finish, including receiving client submissions and finalizing agreement documents. Senior Client Advocates serve as relationship managers between clients and brokers and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Skills and experiences that will lead to success:

  • 3+ years of reinsurance experience preferred
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Reinsurance concepts.
  • Learns and retains knowledge of the reinsurance broking process without supervision, to include accountability over account management, which includes supporting pre and post reinsurance placements.
  • Receipt of submission from client
  • Request for quote from reinsurer
  • Quote from reinsurer and to client.
  • Firm order from client and to reinsurance market(s)
  • Invoicing
  • Evidence of Cover document production
  • Learns and applies knowledge of Aon's proprietary systems, compliance policies and procedures.
  • Independently works with client services to answer queries. Works with Internal Audit to file documentation and adhere to company compliance policies Corresponds with Accounting Advocates, Client Service Team, and other internal colleagues on account specific client strategies. Pro-active engagement and communication with clients and brokers
  • Attends prescribed Aon My Learning courses.
  • Possesses advanced analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills and abilities.
  • Builds productive working relationships with peers and higher-level professionals internally and externally to exchange information and make recommendations.
  • Should have minimum insurance and reinsurance experience.

Required education and certifications critical for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or equivalent experience in insurance or reinsurance
  • ARe (Associate in Reinsurance). Otherwise required to obtain within 18 months of your hire date

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
