Job Summary: The Learning Environment Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and carriers to develop project timelines, create schedules, and monitor progress to ensure key milestones and goals are achieved. The Project Coordinator must maintain a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the project, including short and long-term objectives, timelines, and budgetary considerations. By effectively managing day-to-day project tasks, the Coordinator supports broader strategic goals and proactively addresses any issues that may arise. A key focus is to deliver all assigned projects in a timely, complete, and accurate manner while minimizing margin erosion.

Work Location:



  • This is an onsite role in our Mansfield, Ohio facility.


Compensation Information:



  • Hourly range of $21.00- $24.00 plus an annual incentive plan.


What you'll do:



  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various stages of completion.





  • Oversee project timelines, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget - adapting plans as needed to meet evolving requirements.





  • Lead both internal and external communications throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and liabilities on projects.





  • Maintain a strong focus on project margins, balancing profitability with customer satisfaction.





  • Ensure timely release of revenue billing in alignment with department goals.





  • Coordinate delivery of furniture and equipment with suppliers, freight carriers, and customers.





  • Resolve customer service issues, punch lists, or warranty claims in collaboration with suppliers and other internal teams.





  • Stay informed on supplier offerings and regional market trends to develop deep product, supplier, and customer knowledge.





  • Promote a safe work environment by following company safety protocols and exercising caution to prevent workplace injuries.




What we expect you to bring to the table:



  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience, with project management certification preferred.





  • Proficient in PC-based software, including advanced skills in spreadsheet and database applications.





  • Capable of reading and interpreting architectural blueprints.





  • Familiarity with various project management methodologies and best practices.





  • Strong time management, problem-solving, and delegation skills.




Minimum Required Qualifications:



  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in related field.





  • Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.





  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under pressure and in fast-paced environments.









Education and/or Certifications Required:



  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in related field.
