RK&K is seeking an Environmental Scientist Intern to support natural resource fieldwork and reporting activities. Interns will assist with wetland and stream delineations, protected species surveys, habitat assessments, and environmental data collection. Responsibilities include conducting field investigations, preparing technical reports, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting GIS mapping and analysis. Interns will also have opportunities to interact with clients and regulatory agencies. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or a related field. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions are essential. Experience with Microsoft Office and exposure to GIS (ArcPro) are preferred. Knowledge of North Carolina native species and natural resource systems is a plus. Required Skills and Experience
