Job Summary
QAP is seeking a Shop Helper and/or Expeditor. No experience vital but must be familiar with a shop environment. Main Responsibilities
- Follows the instruction of their manager: work schedule, etc.
- Prepares and prioritizes their workcoordinates the shop operations to be carried out, observing the deadlines, coordinates orders for supplies vital for maintenance
- Keeping shop clean (i.e. sweeping, organizing, trash removal etc.
- Cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles and equipment
- Moving parts within the shop area as advised by mechanics
- Pick up and deliver parts, also general office errands
- Ability to work under pressure and stressful situations while still maintaining cooperative working relationships with staff.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, self-motivated, multi-tasker, must be willing to work outside and not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get dirty
- Have a safety-conscious attitude
Requirements
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must be able to successfully complete physical abilities test
- Must be 18 and have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to work in outdoor environment
- Must be dependable, punctual and have strong work ethic
