Job Summary

The position is an integral role responsible for the coordination and delivery of end-to-end support of IT and Audio Visual services to all lines of business Stakeholders in the Houston Corporate and Regional Offices. The main purpose of this role is to ensure business-IT alignment, and IT service level agreements are delivered effectively.

Job Responsibilities

  • Houston Regional Offices IT Operations & Service Delivery - end-to-end support on any IT and Audio Visual related issues & requirements in the Regional facilities in Houston, TX
  • Support the US MGMT L2 and L3 Executives based in the US Regional offices with their audio visual meetings and annual conferences needs
  • Deliver results using defined priorities and KPI for US IT Service Delivery Systems
  • Annual availability commitment of 99.95% of IT and Audio Visual systems in Houston Corp and Regional facilities by managing incidents with Managed Services Partners (MSP).
  • Coordinate the implementation and support of audio visual company standard equipment (video conferencing systems, Content display systems, O365/TEAMs support) together with outsourcing partners
  • Coordinate support and implementation of all End User tools, service requests, incidents (AV, PC, printers, telephones, headsets, O365 applications support) together with outsourcing partners
  • Planning, procurement, deployment, and break-fixes to maintain optimal performance of End User tools, Audio Visual systems and IT peripheral devices in Houston Corporate and Regional facilities
  • Detect and analyze process defects and/or opportunities applying improvement actions & process automation for Houston Corporate and Regional facilities
  • Manage outsourcing partners to ensure effective delivery of current and evolving technology service capacities in Houston Corporate and Regional facilities
  • Lead improvement initiatives to increase IT and Audio Visual operational stability for business operations stakeholders in the Regional facilities
  • Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations, and wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
  • Meet or exceed company safety standards
  • Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management


Qualifications

  • College degree in Computer Science or related field, or 5+ years of experience in IT and Audio Visual Service Mgmt or IT Infrastructure related field
  • 5+ years of experience supporting End User Tools (PC, Printers, monitors, O365, etc)
  • 3+ years of experience working with IT network infrastructures (Telco circuits, routers, switches)
  • 3+ years of experience working with IT related projects


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office 365 including TEAMs, PowerPoint, Word, Etc)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Team player, able take a leadership role in dealing effectively with various internal and external teams/departments
  • Proven ability to work independently, meet multiple deadlines, and manage workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to learn and comprehend new technologies quickly

  • Capable of working in an open concept office environment
  • Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time
