Juniper Networks is seeking a seasoned Automated Wide Area Network (AWAN) Sr. Sales Specialist, focusing on Enterprise accounts. This individual contributor role requires a strategic focus, the ability to understand the client's needs, and a deep understanding of Juniper's business and product offerings.

The AWAN Sr. Sales Specialist must be an integral part of the sales process and have a solid relationship with the various departments and teams in the organization. The Sr. Sales Specialist must be the driving force in selling AWAN, with a solid business development mindset, entrepreneurial approach, and a relentless passion that will help expand and grow Juniper Routing revenue along with market share.

The AWAN Sr. Sales Specialist will be the prime ambassador for AWAN Sales opportunities and deals. This includes business development, product positioning and strategy, sales and customer education, forecasting, quota attainment, and pipeline management. The Sr. Specialist must be able to articulate our AI-Native Networking strategies to account owners, customers, senior management and partners. The position involves developing relationships with sales teams to obtain and develop leads that foster opportunities.

Responsibilities



  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Enterprise sector. This includes understanding the unique needs of these organizations and tailoring Juniper's solutions to meet those needs.


  • Develop sales strategies, prepare proposals and quotes, and present networking products.


  • Educate prospects and customers about Juniper's products and solutions, demonstrating their value and addressing technical challenges.
  • Execute a repeatable sales process, from identifying leads through to closing sales. This includes understanding the enterprise buying cycle and aligning sales efforts with this timing to increase chances of capturing opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders within the Enterprise sector. This includes understanding the importance of networks and reputation for long-term success in this sector.
  • Understand the specific networking challenges faced by enterprises, and how Juniper's solutions can help address these challenges.
  • Work closely with internal and external resources to deliver growth strategy. This includes collaborating with Juniper's technical teams to develop compelling network solutions.
  • Understand and navigate the specific procurement regulations and contract requirements associated with selling to the Enterprise sector.
  • Contribute to the territory planning process
  • Provide reliable sales and pipeline forecasts on a weekly interval.
  • Demonstrate skills necessary for win/win negotiation of issues with peers, distributors, and partners required
  • Stay informed about industry trends and customer needs.


Minimum Qualifications



  • 8+ years' experience selling Networking Solutions in the Enterprise segment
  • Must be self-motivated, a strong team player, and able to travel 50% of the time within assigned territory.


  • Deep focus on the following domains: Automation, Private Routed Networks, AI/ML infrastructure


  • Experience selling networking and software products, particularly in use cases like Private network backbone core, peering, edge, and data center interconnect
  • Experience selling Automation and AI/ML infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • College degree



Minimum Salary: $268,800.00

Maximum Salary:$386,400.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $268,800.00 and $386,400.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
