Position Title: Hydraulic Cylinder Tech
Wage: $18-$19/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-4:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Hydraulic Cylinder Tech for a company in Springfield, MO. This is an associate to hire role. Hydraulic Cylinder Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Weld and use machinery and power tools to complete simple tasks such as drilling, honing, sawing, and polishing - Keep accurate, easy to read record of work performed and materials used - Maintain safe work habits - Maintain and care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment - Perform other duties as assigned - Help maintain cleanliness, neatness, and safety of building and work area Hydraulic Cylinder Tech Requirements: - Hydraulic cylinder tech, machine operations, and warehouse experience - Must have own hand and measuring tools - Manual Lathe experience preferred - Communicate in English to receive instructions and acquire parts and tools - Standi and/or walk for 8 hours a days - Handling of average to heavy objects up to 50 pounds from floor to 37 inches - Some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions - The environment is inside but may involve some outdoor activity - Moderate exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and loud noises - Sufficient hand and arm strength to operate normal and large hand tools - Reach above head, twist, bend, retrieve items from floor, apply a minimum of 15 pounds force while reaching overhead QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
