Summary of position/daily activities:

  • Install, maintain, secure, and backup Linux operating systems


  • Install, configure, and maintain Ansible


  • Implement Ansible best practices for supporting diverse client base


  • Develop Ansible playbooks for automating system processes


  • Providing training support and knowledge transfer on Ansible solutions


  • Build servers from virtual and physical machines


  • Provide Linux server support


  • Mitigate security vulnerabilities on all Linux servers


  • Configure and maintain network services


  • Assist with other infrastructure related hardware and software design, installation and configuration


  • Write technical documentation


  • Adapt to shifting project requirements


  • Possess strong problem identification and problem-solving skills


  • Candidates must have the ability to work at client locations?



Basic qualifications/experience (the required qualifications which are critical to be considered for the position:

  • Linux+ or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Certified


  • Security+ Certified


  • At least 10 years experience with Linux Operating System with Bachelor's Degree or 12 years with Linux+ or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Certification


  • At least 1 year experience Monitoring/SIEM tools


  • At least 1 year experience with shell scripts



Desired skills/certifications (any additional skills desired but not required to be considered for the position):

  • Experience working with multiple Operating Systems ??


  • Experience working with advanced technologies to include: Oracle Enterprise Manager, Ansible, and Oracle Exadata


  • Hardening environments in compliance with DISA's Security Technical Implementation Guide?
  • Experience implementing Automation?
