Your Role:

The AV engineer and producer is responsible for overseeing the technical operations of AV systems, ensuring the highest quality of sound, video, and production. This role involves managing AV installations, troubleshooting technical issues, supervising AV teams, and overseeing live and recorded productions. The individual also takes on producer responsibilities, managing the creative and logistical aspects of productions to ensure seamless execution.

What you'll be doing:

  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of AV equipment, including projectors, sound systems, video walls, lighting, and control systems.

  • Design and implement AV system upgrades to enhance production quality.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with AV systems, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices for AV production.

  • Manage AV infrastructure, including networking, signal routing, and integration with IT systems.

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for AV operations

  • Work with executives to ensure seamless execution of meetings, town halls, webinars and any type of conferencing support required to warranty best end user experience

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely and effective support. Strong executive communication skills and stakeholders' management

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute live and recorded AV productions, including corporate events, broadcasts, and conferences.

  • Act as a producer by overseeing creative and logistical aspects of productions, ensuring they meet client or company expectations.

  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of AV equipment and oversee procurement and maintenance.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Broadcast Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in AV engineering, with at least 1+ year in a leadership role.

  • Proficiency in AV software and hardware, such as Crestron, Dante, Q-SYS, Blackmagic, and Adobe Premiere Pro.

  • Strong knowledge of AV systems, video production, sound engineering, and lighting control.

  • Experience with live event production, broadcasting, and digital media workflows.

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Ability to work with multiple geographies in a multicultural environment

  • May require evening, weekend, and holiday work depending on production schedules.

  • Physical activity, including lifting AV equipment may be required.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive.
