Our Opening and Your Responsibilities Working alongside a Field Service Technician, helping them to perform their daily duties. * Following daily service visits schedule through careful coordination with their Area Service Leader. * While on site at customer facilities, assisting the Field Service Tech to provide pipette repair and calibration services. * Representing Rainin to customer in a professional and positive manner. * Ability to work as part of a small team. * Completes service reports and expense reports and is responsible for maintaining service equipment and parts inventory. * When available, assists in Service Center production activities as assigned by the Area Service Leader * Travel out of local area of up to 50% of the time required to support the business, including overnight travel up to 25% of the time. What You Need to Succeed * Driving License: Including good driving record * Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Previous knowledge or work experience with pipettes preferred. * Language Skills: Must have strong interpersonal and verbal (English) communication skills. Must have good written communication skills * Mechanical Skills: Must have good mechanical aptitude The ability to disassemble and reassemble small precision mechanical instruments. * Miscellaneous Skills: Strong organizational skills to successfully develop and schedule, process, and complete multiple tasks. * Computer Skills: Must have good computer skills, including use of email and common Microsoft Office programs.
