Position Summary

The Senior Analyst, Insurance Risk Management will play a pivotal role in the administration and enhancement of the company's insurance programs and broader risk management strategies across North America. This position entails the collection of data for insurance program renewals, the management of assigned insurance coverage lines and programs, and the execution of various administrative responsibilities. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will support other risk management programs, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify trends and provide insights that inform strategic decision-making and optimize risk management practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Primary Responsibilities

Insurance Program Management:

* Support insurance renewal efforts by collecting and packaging data for submission, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.

* Manage and administer assigned insurance coverage lines

* Provide insurance and risk management advisory services to internal stakeholders for tasks such as Certificate of Insurance review, insurance contractual language review/recommendation and other requests as applicable.

* Own and maintain the administration of assigned ancillary risk management programs that support the insurance program. This may include programs related to Certificates of Insurance or Self Insurance/State Fund programs depending on experience.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

* Partner with stakeholders as required to gather information through data mining, aggregation, and summarization for insurance, claims management or other needs as requested.

* Participate in presentations related to insurance or claims efforts as necessary.

Governance and Compliance

* Maintain, update, and create necessary documentation to support the risk management department.

* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management functions.

* Generate innovative suggestions that improve performance and contribute to the overall success of the risk management department.

Requirements and Minimum Education Level

Minimum Qualifications

* BA/BS degree or the equivalent required

* Minimum 4 years work experience in corporate insurance, risk management, or brokerage

* Experience managing relationships with various internal and external stakeholders

* 2 years experience in managing insurance contracts

* 4 years of Analytical skills in Finance or Risk Management environment a plus

* CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) and/or ARM (Associate in Risk Management) designations are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

* Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

* Understanding and experience with AI and Automation

* Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

* Ability to analyze data, generate insights, to assist in decision-making and to make informed decisions

* Strong oral and written communication with internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a broader team; strong ability to work across functions and divisions to deliver results.

* Organized with excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy

* Results-focused with the ability to take initiative and ownership

* Process improvement mindset to generate innovative suggestions that improve performance of self and others

* Ability to balance pressures and demands from multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

* Able to synthesize information from disparate sources to deliver comprehensive and actionable insights.
