Requisition ID req33139 Working Title Accountant 2 Position Grade 12 Position Summary The Department of Cell Biology & Physiology in the UNM School of Medicine is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Accountant II to join our research-active academic department. This role is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving abilities, a self-motivated attitude, and a solid background in both unrestricted and restricted (sponsored projects) accounting. As our Accountant II, you will oversee all funding and accounting operations for the department, ensuring compliance with institutional and sponsor regulations. Key Responsibilities:

Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and successful completion of at least 12 credit hours of university-level accounting through intermediate accounting; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
