The cost optimization team at Snowflake is responsible for executing on providing this functionality to customers. We have started by ensuring our customers know exactly what their costs are and providing clear controls over where they are spending that fit into their existing business workflows. We will fast follow with insights into explicit optimizations our customers can perform to be even more efficient with their spend. Over time, the team will delight users by automatically optimizing customer workloads so that they get the best return on their spend. We are actively hiring talented distributed systems developers. The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
