Overview

The Perinatal Support Coordinator serves as an assistant to the NICU leadership team and provides office and clerical support. They are responsible for assisting in the leadership of the NICU-Level III Hospital, including data gathering and tracking, distribution, and follow-up as needed. Maintains multiple clinical databases including Vermont Oxford Newtwork database and perinatal databases for Level III Maintenace. Collaborates with a variety of providers, administrators, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

Supports Perinatal Quality Improvement measures by entering data, preparing quarterly and annual reports, and distributing to appropriate stakeholders.

Prepares correspondence, reports, memos, etc., including meeting agendas and minutes, and provides clerical support to Perinatal Services.

Assists with scheduling of regional outreach programs.

Miscellaneous project support (mailing, scanning, tracking, ordering, scheduling, etc.)

Prepare PowerPoint presentations and reports as needed.

Disseminates information, resolves routine inquiries, and serves as a liaison between nursing staff, other departments, physicians, and transferring hospitals.

Provides support to ensure projects are completed on time according to the established plan.

Creates documents utilized for the maintenance of Level III Perinatal Center and distributes appropriately.

Performs other duties as assigned by Perinatal Services leadership.

Department Specific Job Function

Attends meetings as required. Prepares agendas for, and attends, CFH M&Ms and regional M&Ms.

Coordinates and supports perinatal services meetings, events, level III site visit, and transferring hospital site visits.

Monitoring and tracking transports and dispositions, including notifications to regional hospitals.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $16.59per hour - $26.88per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
