Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our customer in Cypress, CA. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
  • Design and develop test programs to measure the functionality and integrity of products and services
  • Write test procedures and protocols to assess product reliability and evaluates the ability of products to meet performance standards and specifications
  • Debug test hardware and software
  • Report of progress and status regularly
  • Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable
  • Provide budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments
  • Develop prototypes to retire key development risks

Job Requirements
Here's what requirements you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Physics or Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 2 years of experience
Here's what sets you apart from other candidates that our clients prefer:
  • Experience working in a laboratory environment
  • Knowledge of Optical Systems (cameras, telescopes, detectors) is a plus
  • Electrical circuit troubleshooting skills is a plus
  • Good communication skills and a team player
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Requirements Verification Methods and Processes (flow down of requirements into test methods and procedures) Test Plan, Test Procedure and Test Report development
  • Hands on Integration and Testing activities (System operation, System Calibration, Data taking, troubleshooting, fault analysis)
  • Knowledge of Optical Systems, detectors, cameras, telescopes including Visible and Infrared wavelengths
  • Optical Systems measurements and data processing including Optical MTF, Detector Noise, Optical Boresight measurements, Optical Field of View
  • Experience with test equipment: Collimators, Interferometers, Thermal Chambers and Vibration Tables
  • Experience with MSOffice
