Reports To: Branch Manager / Project Manager

Your Role at Acousti

As a Superintendent, you will play a critical leadership role in overseeing all field installation operations from start to finish. You will ensure that each project is completed on time, within budget, and up to Acousti's high standards of quality and safety. This role requires a hands-on, proactive leader who can manage people, materials, and processes efficiently while maintaining strong communication across departments.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
* Supervise and coordinate all field staff while maintaining communication with general contractors, project managers, and branch managers
* Mentor and lead field employees to support professional growth and team success
* Attend weekly scheduling meetings to determine manpower needs for each project
* Conduct initial job checks to ensure readiness and safety prior to project start
* Perform weekly site visits to review progress, safety compliance, and production metrics
* Manage weekly payroll hours and scheduling for all active projects
* Coordinate and oversee timely delivery of materials and equipment
* Schedule and train team members in the safe use of lifts and equipment
* Maintain vehicle and equipment upkeep, including trucks and forklifts
* Provide frequent updates to project managers and branch managers on project status
* Participate in recruiting and hiring new field team members
* Conduct specialty project tasks including field measuring and emissions testing
* Lead safety initiatives, including implementation of job-site safety programs and weekly toolbox talks
* Complete all accident reports thoroughly and immediately
* Ensure punch list items and quality concerns are addressed quickly to support closeout and retainage collection
* Perform additional responsibilities as needed

What We're Looking for in You

To succeed in this role, you should have:
* 7-9 years of experience in construction, architecture, or a related field, including hands-on field experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills
* Strong leadership capabilities and ability to mentor and manage field teams

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the above, we would prefer candidates with:
* OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification
* Forklift, scissor lift, boom lift, and fall protection certifications
* First Aid/CPR/AED certification
* Experience using estimation and project management software
* Certificate in general construction

Education Requirements

Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Associate's or bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or business
