Job Overview:

The Production Bean Product Handler/Processor on night shiftoperates in a high-speed environment where multitasking is key. This role involves precise bean product inventory management, thorough pre-production setup, and efficient post-production cleanup on a daily basis. Additionally, the Bean Product Handler/Processor is responsible for maintaining a consistent product supply to the production line and promptly reporting any anomalies or shortages to their supervisor. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to work safely in a manufacturing setting, exhibit adaptability, be willing to provide support to the team as needed, and adeptly manage the multifaceted aspects of this role.Additionally, they should be self-motivated and trustworthy, seeking long-term employment with opportunities for growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Management



  • Maintain precise and up-to-date records of bean product inventory.
  • Ensure that the necessary stock levels are readily available for production.



Bean Preparation



  • Assist in pre-production activities, including sorting, cleaning, and organizing beans for processing.
  • Follow established procedures to prepare materials for production runs.



Production Support



  • Monitor production processes to ensure the steady flow of bean products.
  • Communicate promptly with the supervisor regarding any irregularities, shortages, or issues.



Clean-Up Assistance



  • Contribute to post-production clean-up activities to maintain a hygienic and orderly work environment.
  • Safely handle waste disposal and equipment cleaning.
  • Assist in emptying each production plant of garbage and condiments after the production is completed, if required by the Production hyster driver.



Safety and Compliance



  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines in the manufacturing environment.
  • Comply with all relevant regulatory and company standards.



Team Collaboration



  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure the smooth flow of operations.
  • Ready to provide support to colleagues when necessary.
  • Open to working in other areas of Production as needed.



Production Knowledge



  • Familiarity with the daily Production schedule to ensure smooth operations.



Effective Communication



  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with all Production and Quality Assurance Personnel.



Equipment Operation



  • Safely operate a hyster for the efficient handling of materials.



Physical Requirements



  • Capable of climbing ladders.
  • Ability to lift up to 50-pound bags when required.
  • Extended periods of standing and walking.



QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Skills



  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Hyster operation skills or willingness to be trained.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Physical fitness to meet the demands of the job.
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy.



Work Schedule and Compensation Grade



  • Availability for a Monday - Friday shift from 5:54 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. with additional overtime as needed based on production and customer requirements. This is a grade 3 position; compensation is based on previous experieince.
