Overview Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is hiring for a Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineer in Richland, WA. This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD). Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities I&C Engineers will work within a team of engineers responsible for the maintenance of industrial control systems (ICS) at the 222-S Laboratory complex on the Hanford site. ICS support the safe and reliable operation of an analytical services laboratory handling radioactive materials in support of the Hanford mission. ICS include mission critical ventilation control system, standalone PLC applications, local area network for analytical instrumentation, and applications for data retrieval from e-tools. The I&C Engineer will provide hardware maintenance and development, software support services, and technical assistance for all process control systems, programmable logic controllers, related digital equipment, instrumentation, and site industrial control systems. Analysis and diagnosis of system related problems, including system design and failure analysis, and provide recommendation for solutions where appropriate. Provide subject matter expertise (SME) and analysis regarding the design, functionality, and performance of industrial control systems critical to site operations. The successful candidate will report to the Monitoring & Controls Systems Engineering Manager, whose team have direct responsibility for responding to Analytical and Operations organizations relying on control systems and networks for continued operations.
Implement activities to ensure the functionality of process, design, business, and security related industrial control systems.

Compensation Grade 18: $104,175 - $131,425 Grade 20: $126,025 - $158,875 The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or relevant experience.
