Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Quality and Organizational Excellence Manager to join them. You will report to the General Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, VA.

The Quality and Organizational Excellence Manager responsibilities will include:

• Leadership and Strategy: Be part of the local leadership team, help develop and execute strategies.

• Quality and Improvement: Lead engineering functions in Quality, Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement to ensure top product quality.

• Quality Management System (QMS): Establish and maintain QMS, ensuring compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 and FAA regulations.

• Manufacturing and Improvement: Provide strategic leadership for manufacturing and improvement opportunities.

• Customer Engagement: Communicate effectively to promote customer engagement.

• Reporting: Report key process indicators to improve customer satisfaction and financial performance.

• Compliance: Maintain FAA and EASA certifications.

• Team Development: Develop engineering personnel for business goals and career growth.

• Customer Expectations: Implement protocols to meet customer contractual expectations.

• Daily Operations: Interface with production and offshore operations on engineering issues.

• Customer Contact: Serve as the main contact for manufacturing and quality-related matters.

• Values and Improvement: Uphold company values and drive continuous improvement.

To be considered for Quality and Organizational Excellence Manager, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• Bachelor degree in a technical discipline or bachelors degree with quality management related experience.

• 5 years of management and/or related leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

• 10 years of professional or technical experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Expertise in team building, career development, and performance management.
