POSITION SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter II will learn the company's recruiting model, handle logistics for candidates (including but not limited to scheduling interviews and extending job offers) and be responsible for candidate sourcing activity while ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience during the hiring process.

This associate will phone screen and assess candidates to determine the next steps in the hiring process. This role will partner with hiring managers/teams to ensure business needs are met. This associate complies with all federal and state laws and Company policies regarding recruitment and selection processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

Candidate Sourcing and Recruitment - 70%

  • Performs full recruitment functions (source, identify, screen and interview) potential candidates
  • Identifies and approaches active and passive candidates through proactive and non-traditional recruitment methods
  • Coordinates logistics for candidates in the recruitment process including but not limited to scheduling interviews and ensuring hiring managers have necessary candidate information
  • Attends career fairs as needed
  • Leads campus tours for candidates
  • Pinpoints top talent through the use of sourcing methodology, social networking, job fairs, video recruitment, and employment branding initiatives
  • Extends employment offers and partners with TA Coordinator on offer letter creation
  • Contacts referrals as needed and tracks referral candidate status
  • Gathers data for weekly reports including but not limited to open requisitions and offers/jobs filled
  • Participate in hiring events, strategic projects, and initiatives

Effectively Build Relationships with Hiring Managers - 20%

  • Conduct regular check-ins with managers as new roles are created
  • Update candidate profiles as needed
  • Conduct regular review of interview materials and update as necessary
  • Review trends for candidate win/loss
  • Assist other departments with projects or initiatives related to talent acquisition

Candidate tracking and reporting - 10%

  • Regular candidate updates in the applicant tracking system and other team reports

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS (IF APPLICABLE)

  • May work on special projects, initiatives, or other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY/BUDGETARY/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY

  • Communicates with external candidates
  • Communicates with external staffing vendors and job board administrators

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • For external candidates: 3+ years of related business experience, preferably in talent acquisition

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to adhere to and exhibit the Company Values at all times
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems, Workday preferred
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding recruitment and selection processes
  • Ability to appropriately assess candidates fit for the job
  • Strong interviewing and probing skills to assess job suitability
  • Ability to build effective business relationships at all levels
  • Strong communication skills - both oral and written
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Savvy and comfortable exploring new sourcing/recruitment tools

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, WORKING CONDITIONS, AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Typical office environment - sedentary with typing, writing, and reading requirements
