Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com Scope: Responsible to coordinate all training and keep all training records up to date at the facility. Responsible for site Certification process. Will be conducting training both on an individual and group level. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training materials on company product, process, and technologies
- Develop training curriculum/materials, selecting appropriate delivery mechanisms, delivering training, and monitoring training effectiveness for general workforce and for targeted technical areas.
- Ensure team members develop, maintain, and increase their own technical and/or process knowledge.
- Provide orientation and training on new course material.
- Coordinate and track training of new employees and cross training existing employees.
- Coordinate training efforts with supervisors/managers and certified operator trainers.
- Select appropriate training aids.
- Prepare lesson plans relevant to training material.
- Administer all employee certification activities including resources/materials, processes/procedures.
- Monitor training personnel records to ensure that employees have met all company-training requirements for company and regulatory compliance.
- Communicate training needs, due dates, and requirements to departments
- Schedule, coordinate, and attend employee certification processes.
- Track and record required site trainings, employee certifications, and training documents.
- Analyzing course evaluations in order to judge effectiveness of training sessions and to implement suggestions for improvements.
- Provide discipline-specific and process/tool knowledge training, non-technical training, training on general workplace standards, processes, and tools, training on general skills and competencies and training on leadership and management development.
- Coordinate and schedule monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual site required training.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and instructions in English.
- Must be able to work with little to no supervision.
- Must be well organized and able to keep all training records up to date.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondences.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts and basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Outlook. In addition, an individual should be able to use WebEx, TTM-San Jose software programs.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
- Associates degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training in teaching/training
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in PCB industry
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Compensation and Benefits:
TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered. Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $52,860 - $83,552
Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location. Export Statement: Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
