What you'll be doing...Lead cloud threat intelligence program, responsible for gathering the necessary security intelligence, ensure correlation of threat intelligence with Verizon systems, analyze the resulting threat from the relevant information, formulate actionable responses and threat mitigation to ensure the protection of Verizon's systems, customer information and brand. Responsible for Cloud security engineering. Lead evaluation, recommendation, implementation and support of third party cloud security ecosystem tools. Stay current on cloud security policies, standards and regulations making recommendations for the company. Work closely and collaboratively with Information Security Teams, IT Portfolios, and Business units to support their needs. Act as an advocate of information security policies, standards, controls and as an enabler to the business while managing risk appropriately. Manage addition or deletion of cloud accounts, ensuring continuous monitoring. User administration. Signature management and tuning. Assist customers with solution integration features. Produce reports, scorecards and related metrics. Manage vendor(s) to meet the needs of the business. Keep stakeholders updated with communications and weekly reporting. Drive mitigation of reported risks from continuous monitoring solutions. Track and report on the status of cloud security risks to corporate or industry requirements. Gain deep security-level knowledge of cloud environments and continuous monitoring solutions to understand and provide direct guidance for security remediation activities. Partner with enterprise teams to establish preventative controls to support security needs via automation. Responsible for Infrastructure as Code/Security Automation; Implementation and Documentation/Design and Diagram of the approved or enforced Security Policies and Procedures. Act as a focal point in the implementation and delivery of formalized information security awareness offerings. Maintain strong awareness of cloud security incidents in the external community to identify threats and opportunities for enhancement. Analyze and recommend cloud cost savings to reduce overall spending. Support annual renewal and budgeting needs. Provide technical mentoring and knowledge transfer to members of the team. Work with Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and GIT. Responsible for containerization including Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Elastic Container Service; and best practices to secure registries, images, and workloads. Responsible for security of the systems and networking concepts and for Infrastructure as a Code/Security Automation. Work with different operating systems including Linux/Unix and Windows. Work with AWS Cloud platform and its features including EC2, VPC, EBS, AMI, SNS, RDS, EBS, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Cloud-Formation AWS Configuration, Autoscaling, CloudFront, IAM and S3. Work in Datacenter migrations of systems from on-prem to AWS cloud with security included. What we're looking for...Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and 4 years of experience in the job offered or as a Cloud Security Engineer, Systems Engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 4 years in the following: working on Cloud security engineering; security of the systems and networking concepts; Infrastructure as a Code/Security Automation; working with different operating systems including Linux/Unix and Windows; working with AWS Cloud platform and its features including EC2, VPC, EBS, AMI, SNS, RDS, EBS, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Cloud-Formation AWS Configuration, Autoscaling, CloudFront, IAM and S3; and working in Datacenter migrations of systems from on-prem to AWS cloud with security included.
