As a Security Professional - Industrial Access in Aberdeen, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with all individuals on site, and respond promptly to any incidents. Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized personnel from accessing restricted areas.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with site personnel to address access control concerns and support a secure working environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
