As a Product Owner, you will play a key role in driving the development of our Science curriculum, ensuring that our products meet the needs of teachers and learners across the country.

As the Product Owner for the 6-12 Science curriculum team, you will lead the creation and development of digital and print education solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including curriculum designers, educators, engineers, and marketers, to deliver comprehensive updates and enhancements to existing Science program that aligns with educational standards, market-needs, and supports diverse student needs.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the 6-12 Science curriculum.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, gathering and prioritizing requirements to ensure the curriculum meets the needs of students, teachers, and educational institutions.
  • Create and manage the product backlog, clearly defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities for the development team.
  • Work closely with Agile teams, including developers, designers, and QA, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the educational landscape.
  • Monitor and report on product performance, leveraging data and analytics to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Engage with educators, administrators, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure the product aligns with the latest educational standards and practices.
  • Influence cross-functional design teams to execute on the iterative, product roadmap set forth by your Science Product Management team.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to provide guidance and clarity to the team.
  • Support in-market activities like proposals, responses to RFPs, rubrics, sales operations and funding requests that leverage your knowledge of product-market fit and the product roadmap.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum Design, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in the education or EdTech sector.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working on Agile teams.
  • Familiarity with print and digital curriculum design, including knowledge of educational standards related to 6-12 Science
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to drive product success.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to improving Science outcomes for all students

The pay range for this position is between $49,500-$95,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Click here to learn more about our benefit offerings.
