DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Food Service Worker, you will work together with our dietary management team to provide a seamless flow of patient meal production and service. In this role, you will be trained in operating dishwashing machines and floor scrubbers, reading tray tickets, and portioning out foods to meet diet guidelines. You can expect to maintain high sanitation standards by correctly performing cleaning tasks. You will also deliver meal trays and comply with dietary instructions, policies, and procedures. Your duties will include labelling and packaging nourishment, portioning food items, and grilling food items. Additionally, you will work in conditions that are, at times, hot, cold, and uncomfortable. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with rotating days off, and a 30-minute lunch break. You will be required to work weekends and holidays as assigned, with one scheduled weekend off per month.
- Your work schedule may change based on operation needs.
- Overtime and travel as needed

Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
