The Financial Services Department (F$D) is looking for a motivated individual to join the Planning and Analysis group. As a team, the Planning and Analysis group maintains, redefines, develops, and prepares meaningful financial reports, dashboards, and metrics for management reporting. The group identifies and implements financial planning and reporting processes, systems, and reporting tools, all the while coordinating with the Laboratory research and business communities and MIT campus on budgeting and forecasting issues. Supervised by and working with, the Finance Manager, Planning and Analysis - Research, the Sr. Financial Analyst, Planning and Analysis - Research will play a hands-on role in defining future budgeting, planning and forecasting (BPF) processes for research projects across the enterprise. This position will assist with the implementation and modernization of Laboratory-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, and reporting processes undertaken by a wide group of Laboratory Research Division stakeholders.
