Electric energy demand will continue to increase with the growth of electric vehicles and reliance on intermittent renewables like solar and wind. Keysight's Automotive & Energy Solutions group has an opportunity to partner with customers to build a better future and is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead Keysight's grid modernization initiative. In this role, you'll collaborate with others to take the strategic vision from concept to completion, provide program management that aligns with the company's long-term growth objectives, drive achievement of deliverables and support scoping of new initiatives.


Responsibilities

This role will be based in Loveland, CO or Santa Rosa, CA.

Chosen candidate will

  • Exhibit Passion for innovation and grid modernization initiatives, with an understanding of how emerging technologies in power systems, communication, networks, cybersecurity, automotive electrification and system simulation can enhance power system capacity, resilience and efficiency.
  • Be responsible for developing and driving the strategic direction of the overall initiative and delivering critical program milestones that has broad organizational, business and technical impact.
  • Form and lead a team of Biz Dev engineers, planners and project managers to structurally grow our business with customers in the grid space
  • Build collaborative relationships, understanding organizations and influencing stakeholders at all levels to ensure strategic program goals are delivered.
  • Serve as the responsible party for bringing together domain expertise across different organizations and the end-to-end execution of the program.
  • Actively engage in the development and prioritization of current and future grid modernization initiative and operational plans to support the growth of the program over the next five years and beyond.
  • Communicate strategic initiatives, status updates and implementation plan to senior leaders for alignment and approvals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or MBA degree, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in program management with focus on communications, cybersecurity, power systems, automotive technologies or digital simulation
  • Experience managing cross functional virtual teams teams
  • 5+ years of experience orchestrating and managing large, complex initiatives across multiple teams from scratch
  • PgMP certification is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of test products and processes for power and energy systems, device and system interoperability, communication interfaces, networks, cybersecurity and digital twins and/or simulation
  • Prior knowledge of or experience working with modern grid technologies and applications to include DER, ESS, microgrids, DERMS/EMS, smart grid communications/protocols, energy system/device cybersecurity, transmission/distribution automation, and vehicle-grid integration
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully implementing complex projects involving engineering, product management, sales, and executives

Colorado pay range: MIN $166,990 MIDPOINT $222,650 - MAX $278,320
