Summary: As the Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of support services, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction, communications, and driving continuous improvement in delivery service. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, program leadership, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance with program goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead and coordinate contract processes from initiation to closeout, including transition, execution, growth, and decrement.
- Build and maintain internal and external relationships, interpreting needs and developing solutions for effective delivery.
- Review, consolidate, and approve contract deliverables, ensuring compliance with performance standards, risk mitigation, and quality controls.
- Monitor project operations, manage risks and impacts of changes, develop mitigation plans, and proactively escalate issues to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the corporate service center on requisition development, management, interview coordination, and skills verification.
- Oversee the staffing process, ensuring candidates are effectively identified, vetted, and onboarded.
- Track staffing actions using program-developed tools, providing timely and accurate updates.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual operational metrics for senior management and client reporting using MS Excel and other tools.
- Conduct data analysis and evaluation on official documents, records, reports, policies, and regulations as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of government policies and procedures, with analytical skills, time management, and independent decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience managing, staffing, overseeing, and completing government projects, including training facilitation and sustainment-related (resiliency) operations.
- Ability to obtain a T1 Public Trust clearance (current clearance preferred).
- Experience working with the Army, other military branches, and/or Department of Defense public/community health programs.
- Preferred exposure to senior military leadership, such as HQDA, ACOM, or Army Service Component Commands.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Green/Black Belt Six Sigma certification.
