Testing Required:

Hybrid Role: Must be able to come on-site periodically and reside a commutable distance from the assigned work location.

Emergency Response: Yes - Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE's emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers.

Job Title:Workload Management Analyst Job Summary
  • Enables workload management execution by business unit by providing analytical, budget, process, and systems support utilizing existing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Ensures processes are designed and implemented and that work order generation and planning/scheduling is consistent with company policy. Performs analysis, researches, prepares reports and provides support to management and the ongoing operations of the business unit. Evaluates current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of the business units work management execution.
Key Accountabilities
  • Oversees and maintains the business unit work management system using Maximo, including the preventative maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) database
  • Maintains an SME knowledge base in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) development
  • Interacts with internal and external groups to benchmark work management best practices
  • Utilizes appropriate tools, including Maximo/Akwire to complete work required to initiate, plan, schedule, execute and close work orders generated from PMs and CMs
  • Develops project plans, accurate time and resource estimates that require appropriate levels of productivity to ensure deadlines are met; plans and leads projects as required.
  • Inputs data including job plans, job aids and asset criticalities
  • Identifies, troubleshoots, analyzes and resolves problems with system(s) and processes utilizing statistics, trends and root cause; determines correct problem/failure codes.
  • Provides various reports to management and supervisors regarding schedule performance, priority conflicts, resource issues and other trend information significant to working a viable schedule. Prepares and presents finding and recommendations as needed
  • Responsible for accurate and timely close-out/reconciliation of Maximo work orders
  • May assist in training other staff and station personnel
  • Creates and monitors capital work orders; monitors CWIP and closes out capital projects
  • Completes special projects, ad hoc requests and provides work direction as assigned
  • Functions as Service Suite SME for business unit
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years of job related experience, including Maximo background (work management design and implementation; scheduling data input and report generation).
Other Qualifications

Preferred

  • Associate's Degree.

Other Requirements

  • Experience with SAP, CPG and SRM required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Effective verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills consistent with the ability to identify key issues from a broad range of alternatives, and recommend optimal solutions for various situations.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work with shifting priorities and embrace new and evolving responsibilities
