At TA Instruments, we are looking for a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team and play a foundational role in building the quality and reliability of our next-generation, cloud-based software platform. Through comprehensive manual and automated testing, you'll ensure our solutions set the highest standards for performance and innovation.



Responsibilities

Typical tasks include, but are not limited to:

    Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test cases for our cloud-based applications, ensuring functional, performance, security, and usability requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements, develop test strategies, and refine acceptance criteria.
  • Build and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and data processing workflows.
  • Perform API testing to validate data integrity and system interactions.
  • Ensure CI/CD integration by implementing automated tests in continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Identify, document, and track defects in issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Contribute to the overall test strategy to ensure the scalability, security, and high performance of the cloud solution.


Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of software testing experience, with a focus on web and cloud-based applications.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience with manual and automated testing for cloud-based software.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestComplete).
