Reporting To: Manager, Value Stream
Work Schedule: Onsite - Murphy, NC
To be considered for 2nd Shift Supervisor, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
High School diploma or GED required At least 5 years' experience working in a manufacturing operation with at least 1 year of leadership/supervisory experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Willing to work overtime and Saturdays as required. Adept at using iPhone or other remote devices to monitor email for efficient and prompt response.
As a 2nd Shift Supervisor, you will:
Administers company policies within his/her group and evaluates job performance on the part of those reporting to him. Provides employee development, counsel and discipline. Maintains production schedules; ensures that products are tested and inspected to meet assigned quality standards. Always strives to meet production, delivery, quality, and cost of quality goals. Sets priorities, organizes and coordinates work. Adjusts work assignments to respond to changing priorities. Interfaces with other departments to ensure customer deadlines are met. Ensures that all assigned employees are trained and qualified to the standards required for their jobs. Instructs, trains, and assists personnel on schedules, methods of processing, operational procedures, quality requirements, assembly techniques, and test procedures. Conducts regular team meetings to develop and implement process improvements. Plans and prepares agenda, action items and follow up sessions. Keeps team on track and goal oriented. Encourages participation from all team members. Reviews individual and team performance. Recognizes efforts and accomplishments of members and teams. Maintains time and production records. Trains employees and maintains daily administration of labor reporting. Works with the ME to develop and set up methods and procedures. Troubleshoots assembly and testing problems. Implements process improvements, as well as labor saving ideas. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department or work force. Coordinates manpower requirements by increasing or decreasing personnel and overtime to meet changing conditions. Makes pay and promotion recommendations. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Helps maintain good working rapport among personnel.

Salary Range Transparency: Murphy, NC $47,000.00-$53,000.00 Annually
